NullReferenceException while dragging DDS texture on any Unity windows and panels
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download and import attached project. (FastTestProject.zip)
2. Go to Assets->Art->Environments->VH_DefaultLevel->Textures
3. Select "bradportrait" texture and drag it all over all Unity windows and panels (only drag, do not release).
Expected result: Console window empty.
Actual result: Console full of: NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Note: On 5.1.4f1, different error messages appear: Asset '' is in assets but has no assettimestamp...
Reproduced on: 5.4.0b9, 5.3.3p3, 5.2.4f1, 5.1.4f1
