NullReferenceException is thrown and the Shader Graph editor window is closed when changing the Material Type
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “BugRepro” project
2. Open the “Assets/New HDRP Lit Shader Graph.shadergraph” Shader Graph editor
3. Select any Material Type (Graph Settings > HDRP > Surface Options > Material Type)
Expected result: No exception is thrown and the Material Type is changed
Actual result: NullReferenceException is thrown and the Shader Graph editor window is closed
Reproducible with: 2023.3.0b1, 2023.3.0b4
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.34f1, 2022.3.19f1, 2023.2.8f1, 2023.3.0a19
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
