Regression

No

No bulk Import/Remove actions when multi‑selecting Samples in All Samples tab

Packman

-

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a new project using Universal 3D template
  2. Open the Package Manager (Window > Package Management > Package Manager)
  3. Open the "All Samples" tab
  4. Hold "Ctrl" on the keyboard to multi-select a few Samples
  5. Observe the actions shown in the right‑hand panel after selection

Actual results: The right‑hand panel shows “No common action available for X items” and no Import/Remove actions are available for the selected Samples

Expected results: When multiple Samples share a common state (all not imported, all imported, etc.), a corresponding bulk action (e.g. Import X Samples, Remove X Samples) is available, or multi‑selection for Samples is disabled if bulk actions are not supported

Reproducible with versions: 6000.5.0a8

Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.70f1, 6000.3.10f1, 6000.4.0b11, 6000.5.0a7 (Samples tab does not exist)

Tested on (OS): Windows 11

Notes:

  • Multi‑selecting Packages in the Packages view exposes bulk actions (e.g. Install X items), so users may expect similar behavior for Samples
  • The UI still allows multi‑selection for Samples but never provides a common action, which feels inconsistent and may confuse users about whether bulk import/remove is supported
