Moving Grid to Handle sets Scene Grid Position to Infinity
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new Unity project
2. Open Grid and Snap Settings in the Scene view window
3. Observe Position X, Y, Z values
4. Go back and focus Scene view
5. Press shortcut Command+; or ctrl+; to move grid to handle position
6. Open Grid and Snap Settings again
7. Observe Position X, Y, Z values
\\
Actual results: “Command+;” or “ctrl+;” shortcut makes the Scene view Grid disappear and set Position X/Y/Z to “Infinity” in Grid and Snap Settings, Grid snaps to Infinity
Expected results: Grid stays visible, Position X/Y/Z show finite values (0, 0, 0 or handle coordinates), Grid does not snap to infinity
\\
Reproducible with versions: 6000.4.0b9, 6000.5.0a7
Can’t test with versions: 6000.3.9f1 and lower (Grid and Snap Settings not available)
\\
Tested on (OS): Ubuntu 24.04, macOS Silicon Tahoe 26.2 (M1)
