Mobile virtual keyboard does not pop up when Input field is tapped inside mobile device browser
Reproduction steps:
1) Download and open "911858_inputfield.zip" project
2) Build "inpfield.unity" scene for WebGL platform
3) Host game locally
4) Open hosted project via mobile device browser
5) When project loads, tap on the InputField
Actual result:
Notice, that caret appears, but virtual keyboard does not pop up
Expected result:
When user taps on Input field, virtual keyboard should pop up
Reproduced with:
2017.1.0b5, 5.6.1p1, 5.5.3p3, 5.4.5p2, 5.4.0f1
Tested with:
Samsung Galaxy S7
LG G3
Google Pixel
iPhone SE
iPhone 6 Plus

That is simply a deal breaker. Support of input fields is the BASIS. If you don't - and WON'T - fix something so trivial, how good are you to work with important optimization issues? Oh, well, you're not improving that either.
I'm going to head for another WebGL engine and buy THEIR product instead, since they are, at least, considering working on it.

Won't fix ? So why implementing WebGL build ? It's a basic and usefull feature.

Is that a joke? That's one of the most basic thing to implement... My game won't work if the user can't login, which means it won't work on mobile at all... Great!
