[Mixed Reality] Controllers are never detected when launching with Mixed Reality Portal closed
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download attached project
2. Switch platform to UWP and build the project.
3. Make sure you have the Portal closed.
4. Run the app from VS
5. Notice that the Portal opens
6. Check VS output window
7. "Source: 0" is printed. It shows the number of detected controllers.
Expected results: controllers are automatically detected
Actual results: Controllers are never detected
Reproduced with: 2018.2.0b3, 2018.1.0f2, 2017.4.3f2, 2017.3.2f1, 2017.2.3f1
Reproducible with: .Net and IL2CPP backend
Workaround: Press Windows key+Y two times to switch the between PC's desktop and the Windows Mixed Reality home.
