[Metal] Unexpected float precision register usage in iOS Metal shader
How to reproduce:
1. Download and open the attached "TestMetalRegisterPrecision"
2. Select the "NewShader" shader
3. In the Inspector window, press Compile and show code
4. Go to line 286 of the code
Expected outcome: The u_xlat0 is a half
Actual outcome: The u_xlat0 is a float
Reproducible with: 2020.3.48f1, 2021.3.29f1, 2022.3.6f1, 2023.1.7f1, 2023.2.0b3
