MARS content includes materials that do not upgrade to URP

+Synopsis+

I made a new project which includes: 

- Basic Simulation Environments Pack

- MARS Nav Mesh

- Unity MARS Basic Templates

- Unity MARS Platformer Template 

- Unity MARS Training Template 

- Unity MARS Tutorials

 

Then I created an URP Render Pipeline asset which I assigned in Graphics settings, and ran the URP material converter. This resulted in the 57 Console Messages below.  Filtering for all materials in the project reveals 3 hot pink (i.e. broken) materials listed below, which utilize Hidden/InternalErrorShader.

Open the repro project per link in Comments.  

Use Package Manager to install URP. 

Create an URP RP asset. 

Assign your URP RP asset in Graphics settings. 

Edit > Render Pipeline > Universal Render Pipeline > Upgrade Project Materials to URP Materials

Note Console messaged. 

Use Project view to filter all materials in the project; some are hot pink indicating breakage.
