[macOS] Hierarchy V2 automatically renames the created object to "˜" when using a shortcut for the Create Empty Child function
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the attached project
- Open TestScene
- Select "GameObject (1)"
- Press the ⌥⇧N shortcut for creating an Empty Child Object
- Observe the created object in the Hierarchy
Actual results: Newly created object is automatically renamed to "˜"
Expected results: Object is created without any additional operations
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0a2, 6000.3.0a6
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.56f1, 6000.1.16f1, 6000.2.1f1, 6000.3.0a1 (Hierarchy V2 not available)
Reproducible with (OS): macOS 15.6.1
Not reproducible with (OS): Ubuntu 24.04
Notes:
- Does not reproduce with Hierarchy V1
- The issue does not affect Create Empty and Create Empty Parent shortcuts

Resolution Note:
This issue does not seem to reproduce anymore and is likely to have been fixed as a result of a previous patch in the same area. If you find new reproduction steps, please reopen this ticket.
