[Mac] DLLNotFoundException when trying to Open DLL on Mac
Reproduction steps:
1. Open attached Project "DLL_Issues_Mac"
2. Open "Assets/Scene" Scene
3. Press Play
Expected result: Play mode enables successfully and ID of dll is written to Console
Actual result: DLLNotFoundException is thrown
Reproducible with: 2018.4.28f1, 2019.4.13f1, 2020.1.12f1, 2020.2.0b10, 2021.1.0a3
Tested with: macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (Reproducible), Windows 10 Pro (Not reproducible)
Switching to Build target: Windows, then back to Mac did not solve the problem.

It seems that you are trying to load a native dll that is built for Windows that is not a dylib http://sushihangover.github.io/mono-unable-to-find-the-ldylib-native-library/.
