As a workaround for this issue, Unity Player can be run on Wayland window manager instead of X11 window manager (to change you window manager to Wayland. On your login screen click on the cogwheel icon and select Ubuntu on Wayland) with XWayland compatibility layer or with -force-wayland flag (to force the unity player to run in wayland mode). However, note that Wayland support is currently experimental (https://forum.unity.com/threads/experimental-wayland-support-for-linux-player.1382685/)
Thank you again for bringing this issue to our attention and helping us improve Linux Runtime.
