[Linux Editor, Checkmarks are not being displayed on menu options
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download and open the project attached
2. Click "A Menu->Check This" in the top menu of the program
Expected result: There is now a checkbox near "Check This"
Actual result: there is no checkbox near "Check this"
Note: adding a debug log confirms that this is not only a visual issue
Reproduced on: 5.5.3f1, 5.6.3f1, 2017.1.0f3, 2017.2.0b6
