[Layout] Unable to close custom editor window when the script is missing
Steps to reproduce:
1) open attached project
2) create new unity project from menu (File>New Project>OK)
3) try closing the custom editor window which is located left to the scene view
Results: Fails to close the editor window and throws Null reference error
Workaround: Selecting a new Layout will make this window disappear
Reproduced: 5.3.0f4, 5.3.4p1, 5.4.0b12
Not reproducible: 5.2.4f1
