InvalidOperationException is thrown in the Console when defining simulation type on Play mode startup
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “ExceptionRepro“ project
2. Open the “Assets/Scenes/SampleScene.unity“ Scene
3. Enter the Play mode
4. Observe the Console window
Expected result: No errors thrown in the Console window
Actual result: “InvalidOperationException“ error thrown in the Console window
Reproducible with: 0.17.0-preview.42 (2021.3.16f1, 2022.2.1f1, 2023.1.0a22), 1.0.0-pre.47 (2022.2.10f1, 2023.1.0b7, 2023.2.0a5)
Reproducible on: Intel MacOS Ventura 13.1
