I have to say this is by far the biggest issue i'm facing supporting a mac game. I have the UI looking great under windows standalone but soon as i use my Mac Pro the fonts and UI sprites go blurry and horrible to look at.
Any help would be much appreciated. this does seem like a bug to me

This is outrageous, I just got a new mac book with retina display and unity looks absolutely horrendous! For the amount of money pro costs, and the fact that Unity can develop for retina display, makes this completely inexcusable on Unity's part. Also, how is this a duplicate? I've searched and I couldn't find another bug report, but by all means please give me the link to the duplicate. I sent an inquiry yesterday morning, no response yet. Enough ranting, do you intend on fixing this huge issue, or is their some workaround to make it look somewhat decent? Thanks, hope I get a reply on this report that shouldn't be dead.

Unity 4.3.2f1? Just look at how Unity 5 looks like... i just expected that if the Unity is so famous, they should have Apple's retina support... if Unity helps you to create iOS/OSX games, what should i do? Should i work on Windows, and then export on Mac? :)) I can say that's the worst app i have installed on my Macbook pro Retina...very very pour UI (as it looks now)...

Confirm same issue. I bought a macbook pro, to take advantage of the higher resolution device, and it actually looks worse in retina mode inside unity editor. The fonts are scaled up and pixelated, and the Game window renders as if it is at half of the retina resolution and scaled up 1440 instead of 2880
I think this is partly to do with the way Apple/Mac handles retina display. But other Mac apps seem to display just fine.
