[HDRP] Refraction shaders dont compile on mac
When you open the Samples project it takes extra long to compile shaders, after some time compilation fails and produces an error also resulting in refraction material balls not rendering.
Reproduction:
1) Open an empty 3D project
2) Install HDRP via package manager
3) Import HDRP material samples via package manager (theyre on the right side of the window when HDRP package is selected)
4) Open the Material samples scene
Expected: Shaders compile without errors and 3 refraction materials properly display (see expected.png)
Result: A generic error about lit shader compilation. Refraction materials are invisible
Regression:
Works on - 2019.4.18f1 and HDRP 7.5.2
Doesnt work on 2020.2.1f1 and HDRP 10.2.2
Doesnt work on 2021.1.0b1 and HDRP 11.0.0
My mac specs:
OS Mojave 10.14.6
Macbook Pro 2018
Radeon Pro 560X
UPDATE:
Two colleagues also checked the same project and it was working for them without any issues. I think this might be caused by my Mojave os.
Colleagues confirmed that the project works on 10.15.7 and 11.0.1 mac os
