Gradient Editor randomly closes when opening the Color window on Linux
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Create a new trail GameObject by going to the menu bar: GameObject>Effects>Trail
3. Select the "Trail" GameObject in the Hierarchy
4. Open the Gradient Editor by pressing on the "Color" property in the Inspector
5. In the Gradient Editor press on the colored area next to the color picker icon to open the Color window
6. Close the Color window and repeat steps 5 and 6 until the Gradient Editor closes
Expected result: the Gradient Editor stays open
Actual result: the Gradient Editor occasionally closes
Reproducible with: 2020.2.0b10, 2020.2.3f1, 2021.2.0a2
Not reproducible with: 2018.4.31f1, 2019.4.18f1, 2020.2.0b9, 2021.1.0b5

1. Reproducible on Ubuntu 18.04
2. Not reproducible on Windows 10

Resolution Note (fix version 2021.2):
Resolved the timing issue that was causing this bug to intermittently manifest.
