Grabbing Dynamic Attach interactable in Interaction Simulator makes controller spin
Synopsis:
While using Interaction Simulator, grabbing the Dynamic Attach half-torus in XRI Starter Assets DemoScene causes the controller to rotate on its own non-stop, until I release the mouse button and drop the object. See TorusSpin.mp4 attached.
Same thing happens if I grab the half-torus using the G key. I saw this on Windows 11 using Unity 6000.4.10f1 and Unity 6000.5.0b10.
Steps to reproduce:
- Uncompress TorusSpin.zip (see attached) and open with Unity 6000.5.0b10.
- Open the DemoScene.
- Enter Play mode.
- Point the mouse at the half torus on the table in front of you.
- Click the left mouse button to grab the half torus.
Actual results:
The half torus jumps to your controller, and then the controller spins until you release the mouse button.
Expected results:
The half torus should jump to your controller, and not change your controller's orientation.
Reproducible with versions:
XRI 3.5.1
Not reproducible with versions:
Can’t test with versions:
Tested on (OS):
Windows 11
Notes:
- I am assuming this is a regression, but have not gone back to earlier versions to verify.
