[GPU PLM] GPU lightmapping does not work on the new iMac 2020
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the Tests scene on the new iMac 2020 with Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB
2. Lightmap the scene using GPU lightmapper
3. Entire machine will hang and be unrecoverable (kernel panic).
The users config:
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020)
3.8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7
24 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB
MacOS 10.15.6
I've been trying to get GPU light mapping working on the new iMac, but it always hangs the entire machine, necessitating a hard reset. Just a simple scene with a cube and a plane. So far I've tried 2019.3.14, 2019.4.8, 2020.1.2 and even 2020.2.0a19. The editor log shows many shader compile warnings as attached. Anyone had success with the new iMacs?
