[GI] When opening new stand-alone projects, Enlighten taken longer to initialise in full-screen mode than in windowed.
Upon loading a larger project, enlighten takes a longer time to initialise when played in full-screen mode than when in windowed.
Repro steps:
1. Download and unzip vv.zip file from:
https://drive.google.com/a/unity3d.com/file/d/0B4iLDbefUqzAa1BobWJIZEhLbVU/view?usp=sharing (FogBugz not allowing the file to be attached due to size limitations) or download "Demos: Viking Village" project from https://build.cloud.unity3d.com
2. Launch with 1920x1200 / Berserk settings in windowed mode
3. Observe how for a fraction of a second the buildings are white when the project is loaded.
4. Exit and reopen with the same settings, but in full-screen mode.
5. Observe how the buildings appear white for a significantly longer time.
Expected outcome: enlighten to take a comparable load time if a comparable amount of pixels are being drawn.
Notes:
- video included to demonstrate the issue
- Project build with 5.3.1f1
- Hard to test for regressions as demo team created the project
- Tested with the bedroom scene and a similar behaviour can be observed.
- The duration difference is a bit under a second, making this more of a cosmetic than a functional issue.
Tested on:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)*
2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB
Running OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)
