GameObject name doesn’t change when changing it from the “Debug” window
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. In the Hierarchy window, select “Main Camera” GameObject
3. In the Inspector window, change the mode to “Debug”
4. Change the GameObject name in the Debug window
Expected result: Name is changed
Actual result: The name doesn’t change
Reproducible with: 2022.2.16f1, 2022.2.21f1, 2022.3.6f1, 2023.1.6f1, 2023.2.0b2
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.29f1, 2022.2.15f1
Reproduced on: macOS 13.4.1 (Intel)
Notes:
-Not reproducible when changing the name in the Hierarchy window
-Not reproducible with “Normal” mode
