GameObject is not released from VR controller using keyboard input when VR headset is connected
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached project "ReproProject"
2. Make sure that the VR headset is connected
3. Put on VR headset, enter Play Mode
4. Hover right or left controller over the GameObject
5. Press "F" key on keyboard if hovering with left controller, or "G" key if hovering with right controller
6. Observe the result
Expected result: The GameObject is released from controller after releasing the key
Actual result: The GameObject stays in grabbed state after releasing the key
Reproducible in: 1.8.2 (6000.0.11f1), 1.14.0 (2022.3.61f1, 6000.0.45f1, 6000.1.0b13, 6000.2.0a8)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Reproducible with: Oculus Quest 2 (Quest 2), CPU: Snapdragon XR2, GPU: Adreno 650, v72, OS: 12
Notes:
- Issue only reproduces if VR headset is connected. GameObject releases from grabbed action after releasing the key
- Also reproducible in Player
