Frame rate becomes lower after turning vertical sync on and off when in the Player on macOS
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached "PROJECTFILE" project
2. Build And Run the project (File > Build And Run)
3. Observe the frames per second “FPS:” value visible in the top left corner in the Player before doing any changes
4. Press the “SPACEBAR” keyboard key 2 times to change the “V-sync: 0” value to “V-sync: 1” and then back to “V-sync: 0”
5. Observe the frames per second “FPS:” value
Expected result: Frames per second “FPS:” value goes back to how it was before the “V-sync” changes
Actual result: Frames per second “FPS:” value drops by ~15% and is lower compared to how it was before the “V-sync” changes
Reproducible with: 2021.3.31f1, 2022.3.11f1, 2023.1.17f1, 2023.2.0b14, 2023.3.0a10
Reproducible on: macOS Ventura 13.6 (M1 Max), macOS Sonoma 14.0 (Intel)
Not reproducible on: Windows 11
Note:
-Could not reproduce the issue in the Play mode
-On M1 Max macOS the frame rate changes from ~130 fps to ~110 fps, on Intel macOS the frame rate goes from ~98 fps to ~80 fps
