Search Pill is deleted even though text is selected after user Changes the Pill's Type and clicks Backspace
*Steps to reproduce:*
# Create or open any Project
# Navigate to Window > Search > New Window
# In the search field enter a Component Search Pill
# In the search field enter any character
# Change the Component Search Pill's type
# Select the entered character or make sure the typing indicator is placed after said character
# Press backspace or uquivalent to Delete
*Actual results:* The Modified Search Pill is deleted
*Expected results:* The entered character is deleted
*Reproducible with versions:* 2023.2.20f1, 2023.3.0a11, 6000.0.4f1
*Not reproducible with versions:* 2022.3.27f1, 2023.1.20f1, 2023.3.0a10
*Can’t test with versions:* 2021.3.38f1 (No Search Pills)
*Tested on (OS):* Windows 11, macOS Sonoma M1
