[DX12] Player freezes and/or crashes when switching between full screen modes
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new Unity project
2. Open the Project Settings > Player and switch the primary graphics API to Direct3D 12
3. Import the attached script(ScreenScript.cs)
4. Attach it to any GameObject
5. Build and run the Player
6. Use keyboard keys 1-4 to switch between full screen modes
Expected result: no freezing/crashing occurs
Actual result: the player eventually freezes and/or crashes
Reproducible with: 2018.4.32f1, 2019.4.21f1, 2020.2.7f1, 2021.1.0b9, 2021.2.0a7
Notes:
Could not reproduce the freeze/crash with 3D template in 2018.4, but reproduced it with URP template
