Draw Instanced stops Terrain Textures from rendering when enabled in Windows Standalone Release Player while running in VR with Single Pass Instanced
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project from the Google Drive link ("Project.zip")
2. Connect Oculus link with Quest 2
3. Enter Play Mode and press the Spacebar key
4. Observe how enabling Draw Instanced does not make the Textures disappear
5. Build a Release Standalone Player
6. Press the Spacebar key and observe Draw Instanced making the Textures disappear
Expected results: Draw Instanced does not stop rendering Terrain Textures when enabled in Windows Standalone Release Player while running in VR with Single Pass Instanced
Actual results: Draw Instanced stops Terrain Textures from rendering when enabled in Windows Standalone Release Player while running in VR with Single Pass Instanced
Reproducible with: 2022.3.11f1, 2023.1.16f1, 2023.2.0b13, 2023.3.0a8
Could not test on 2021.3.31f1 due to HDRP Asset migration failure when downgrading the project
Reproducible with these devices:
VLNQA00415 - Oculus Quest 2 (Quest 2), CPU: Snapdragon XR2, GPU: Adreno 650, OS: 10
Not reproducible with these devices:
Oculus Rift S
Reproducible on: Windows 10, Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
-Issue does not reproduce on a new project
-Issue does not reproduce in Editor
-Issue does not reproduce when performing a Development build
-Provided user project is running HDRP
-Issue only reproduces with Single Pass Instanced Rendering Mode
-Issue reproduces with both OpenXR and OculusXR plugins
