Dragging sprite to Inspector field creates the extra object in the Scene view that cannot be selected or deleted
Regression from 5.6.0p1
Steps:
1. Open attached project
2. Create a new material
3. Drag the texture/sprite to Albedo through the Scene view
==>
New sprite appears in the Scene view that cannot be deleted
