Deleting the camera while having Gizmos active in the Game View will cause Unity to crash
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Activate the gizmos in the Game View and make sure you see the Directional Light icon.
3. Delete the camera from the Hierarchy and Unity will crash
