Deleting Canvas with slider from prefab and applying changed, crashes Unity

How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Create empty game object, canvas with slider and make child of it
3. Drag that game object to the project so it becomes prefab
4. Duplicate game object in the hierarchy
5. Expand that duplicate
6. Delete canvas object
7. Select same object and click Prafeb apply (in the Inspector)
8. Unity will crash
