Cutout box is covered in a shadow when the object that houses the cutout is casting shadows
How to reproduce:
1. Open the project “IN-116084_StencilCutoutShadows”
2. Observe the cutout box (Hole GameObject) in the Game View tab
Expected result: The shadow from the pole (Character GameObject) can be seen in the cutout box (Hole GameObject)
Actual result: The cutout box (Hole GameObject) is in constant shadow; the shadow is coming from the terrain (Terrain GameObject) that the cutout box is in
Reproducible with: 2023.1.0a1, 6000.0.58f1, 6000.2.6f1, 6000.3.0b2
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environments tested
Note: To observe the shadows in the cutout box as expected, follow these steps:
1. In the Hierarchy, select Terrain
2. In the Inspector → Mesh Renderer → Lighting → Cast Shadows → change to Off
3. Observe the Hole GameObject in the Game View tab
