Custom fonts aren’t applied to TextMeshPro Text when using <font> tag
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user’s attached “UnityDebug.zip” project
2. Observe the text in the Game window
Expected result: Text has font applied
Actual result: Text doesn’t have font applied
Reproducible with: 2021.3.35f1, 2022.3.20f1, 2023.2.13f1, 2023.3.0b10
Reproduced on: macOS 14.2.1 (Intel)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- reproducible with TextMeshPro 3.0.6, 4.0.0-pre.2
- reproducible with other fonts
- reproducible after using Asset Font Creator and adding a font to TextMesh Pro “Fallback Font Assets List” in Project Settings
- reproducible in the Editor and Standalone Player (macOS)
