Custom font (Unicode) vertical alignment is wrong on "Text" component

Text using custom fonts set to Unicode is aligned wrong on Text components in 5.3 (Too high on Y).

Repro Steps:
1) Open attached project and scene "Test"
2) Observe that the text in object "Text" should be center aligned horizontal and vertical but is too high on the vertical.

Regression from v5.2.2f1

Workaround: Use Dynamic characters

    Unity 5.3.1p4 - bug still alive!
    also when i switch to dynamic - UI text is OK, but 3D text render with this font is broken

    Defniteiyl still broken in 5.3.1p2. Pretty disappointed this has taken so long to get the fix it into a release considering it was marked as fixed 2 weeks ago.

    The vertical alignment seems to be ok for the text fields using the Arial-font but for custom fonts it's incorrect.

    Not working in patch 2 of 5.3.1

    Can't believe it is not fixed yet =Z . It is preventing me to release an important update. Please hurry with this! Please!

    This issue should be reopened.
