Crash when using AssetDatabase.OpenAsset in GUILayout.Window in EditorWindow
To reproduce:
1) Open attached project
2) In top menu bar, select "Test -> TestOpenAsset"
3) In the new window, click "Open"
4) Wait a few seconds
Unity crashes!
Reproduced in 2017.3.x (tested between b1 and 1.p1)
Not reproduced in 2017.1.0f3, 2017.2.x (tested between 0.f3 and 1.p4) (?), 2018.1.x (tested between a1 and b8)
? - two crashes happened while testing 2017.2, but never managed to get a consistent repro there. 2017.3 crashes 100% of the time.
