Crash Unity::Cloth::CreateRecreateIfNecessary when adding cloth to an empty object
To reproduce:
1. Open attached Unity project "Pirates.zip"
2. Create a new gameObject
3. Add Cloth component (sometimes Unity crashes at this point)
4. Go into Play mode
5. Exit Play mode
Expected result: Unity should not crash
Actual result: Unity crashes
Regression first introduced in: 5.6.0a1
Reproduced on: 5.6.0a1, 5.6.0b1, 5.6.1p1, 2017.1.0b6
Not reproduced on: 5.5.3p3
