Crash on GameObject::IsActive or std::_Tree_val when applying settings of Nested Prefabs while using Nested Prefabs plugin

How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached "TestProjectRepro" project
2. Open the "PrefabTest" scene
3. Type "Gloss" in to the Hierarchy search bar
4. Click on one of the Gloss prefabs, click Apply on their Inspector settigns

Expected result: Settings get applied, Unity doesn't stop working
Actual result: Unity crashes

Reproducible on 2017.1.0a2, 5.6.0b10, 5.5.2p2

Note: The crash doesn't seem to happen when applying settings of a separate prefab. Also, the crash may happen when making nested prefabs (dragging prefabs to a project window).
