Could not open file for read Error logged in URP Sample Template when Searching for Assets
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a Universal 3D Sample Template Project
- Open the Search window from the Project Browser
- Search for "scene"
- Select "Files" Category and scroll down to the bottom
Actual results: Errors logged:
"Could not open file D:/Projects/My project (266)/Assets/Scenes/Cockpit/Art/Props/Prefab for read
UnityEngine.GUIUtility:ProcessEvent (int,intptr,bool&)"
"Assertion failed on expression: 'res'
UnityEngine.GUIUtility:ProcessEvent (int,intptr,bool&)"
Folder can be opened and browsed.
On Windows, pop-up with Force Quit option appears.
Expected results: No errors are logged
Reproducible with versions: 2021.3.38f1, 2022.3.29f1, 2023.1.20f1, 2023.2.20f1, (Project was downgraded from Trunk with errors, issue still appears), 6000.0.4f1
Tested on (OS): Windows 11, macOS Sonoma M1
Note: Issue might not be related to Search, but to the Template setup.
