[Contextual Menu][Linux][X11] New sub menus appear as the old sub menu for a few frame before snapping and becoming correct
With the new context menus in Linux, mousing over an item that opens a sub menu will work correctly. But if you move down and select a sibling item that also has a sub menu, the menu with the size of the last sub menu will appear, but with content reflecting the current menu. This only lasts for a few frames before snapping to have the correct size and content.
Repro
- Using Ubuntu 20.04 (X11 window server, may repro with Wayland as well), create a project.
- In the hierarchy view, right click.
- Mouse over "2D Object" and let the context menu appear.
- Now move the mouse over "3D Object" and observe.
Result: Context menu with wrong size and content appears before "snapping" to be correct a few frames later
Expected: Context menu with the correct size and content appears without a visual break
Environment: Ubuntu 20.04 (X11), AMD GPU

Resolution Note:
Due to the state of the new Contextual Menus feature, we decided to revert to OS Menus in 2023.3. Hence, we are cancelling all 2023.2.X ports and recommend using 2023.3.0b1 or higher for more stable context menus. The feature will be reconsidered in future versions.
