Using 2019.1.02f it still freezes up as soon as I press configure.

Same issue here. Unity 2018.3.12f1 crashes every time I'm configuring an avatar in the avatar view. Tried this in a new project, imported only the Models and already had the 7th crash in a row.

This is NOT resolved. It still crashes all the damn time when I try to configure the bones,

Same problem for me, as soon as I click on "Configure" on my custom character Unity isn't responding anymore.

Somehow this has started to happen to me all the time. No matter which character I try to configure.
