[Chrome+Edge] locked cursor only released after several ESC presses
-e: see title, works with just one press in FF
-repro:
--build attached project
--run build in Chrome or Edge
--click into the content to lock the cursor
--see notification about cursor being locked
--press ESC to unlock cursor
--NOTICE cursor is still locked
--hold the ESC key
--notice cursor becomes unlocked after a little bit
