"Check for Updates" Fails to Connect to Update Server
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new project
- Navigate to Help > Check for Updates
- Observe the behaviour in the popup window

Actual results: Connection to the Update server failed
Expected results: The request connection to the Update server is successful
