Assets referenced from Static Fields are unloaded when the Scene gets reloaded
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “static_reset.zip” project
2. Observe the Console
Expected result: No errors are logged since the assets exist
Actual result: Assets get unloaded and errors are logged
Reproducible with: 2021.3.35f1, 2022.3.19f1, 2023.2.9f1, 2023.3.0b6
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: no other environment tested
Note:
- Modifying any script to trigger a domain reload solves the issue, but if the Scene is reloaded, errors appear again.
