Asset preview is not generated when selecting an asset with the mouse in the "Import Unity Package" window
How to reproduce:
1. Download the “IN-110351“ asset pack
2. Create a new empty project
3. Drag the downloaded asset into the Project window
4. Click on the “GreyBlue_Mat” material
5. Observe the asset preview
Expected result: The asset preview is visible
Actual result: The asset preview does not show up
Reproducible with: 6000.0.49f1, 6000.0.54f1, 6000.1.15f1, 6000.2.0b13, 6000.3.0a4
Not reproducible with: 6000.0.48f1
Reproducible on: macOS 15.5 (M1 Max)
Not reproducible on: no other environments tested
Notes:
- Tested and reproduced the issue with .mat, .png, .prefab, .fbx assets
- If you start using arrow keys to navigate the menu the asset preview appears as expected
