Editor freezes when Vsync is enabled and Game View window is resized on macOS
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Open the Game view
3. In the Control Bar, click on the Aspect drop-down menu
4. Toggle option "Vsync (Game View only)" on
5. Resize the Game view window
Expected result: The Editor does not freeze
Actual result: The Editor freezes
Reproducible with: 2021.2.0b17, 2021.2.1f1
Not reproducible with: 2019.4.32f1, 2020.3.22f1, 2021.1.28f1, 2021.2.0b16, 2022.1.0a1, 2022.1.0a14

Same issue in 2022.3.3f, 2022.3.6f
Mac Studio M1 Max, any scriptable renderer pipeline project.
Maximizing game/scene windows several times constantly leads to the freeze. Disabling VSync (Game View Mode) to avoid freeze can be done, still not a solution but workaround.
Why is it marked "fixed"?

I am seeing the same issue on Unity 2021.2.2f1 and a classic / Intel Macbook Pro.
More importantly, a standalone build ALWAYS freezes when changing resolution from within the game - the bug was introduced in 2021.2.0f1.
2021.2.0b16 worked fine.

A change was improperly backported to 2021.2 causing an issue where the editor would freeze, waiting infinitely for a signal - the fix is now in place.
