Can't select transparent objects with surface shader when clicking on non-opaque parts

Scene/Game View


Steps to reproduce :

- create a new project
- create a cube
- create a material and set the shader to Transparent - Diffuse
- set the texture to default particle
- add the shader to the cube
- try to select the cube and notice that the cube is harder to select

    Yep, I'm having the same issue. Whenever alpha = 0 the object is not selectable anymore on the scene view, only on the hierarchy.

    We are experiencing similar issues in Unity 2021.9f1 HDRP 11.0.0.
