Anti-aliasing causes text to have artifacts
Reproduction steps:
1. Open attached project
2. Open scene "BugScene"
3. If artifacts are not instantly visible zoom in and out
Workaround: Disabling Anti-aliasing in Quality settings removes artifacts

I was able to reproduce this with 5.3.4, unpatched.
