[Android] The Player Screen Flashes due to 'RenderTexture.Create Failed' Errors when opening the Player with specific devices
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “ASDQWE” project
2. Build and run the Player (File > Build And Run)
3. Wait up to 30 seconds for the Player to finish loading
4. Observe the Player
Expected result: The Player screen is white
Actual result: The Player screen flashes black and white or displays a black screen and “RenderTexture.Create failed: depth/stencil format unsupported - D32 SFloat S8 UInt (94). There is no compatible format on this platform or this fallback to a compatible format is disabled in the import inspector.” is constantly logged in the device’s logcat
Reproducible with: 6000.0.0b12, 6000.0.0b15
Not reproducible with: 2021.3.37f1, 2022.3.26f1, 2023.2.19f1, 2023.3.0a10
Could not test with: 2023.3.0a11-2023.3.0a16 (The Editor crashes when building), 2023.3.0a17-6000.0.0b11 (“The UniversalRenderPipelineGlobalSettings with 'UniversalRenderPipelineGlobalSettings(Assets/UniversalRenderPipelineGlobalSettings.asset)' is not at last version.” build error)
Reproducible on: MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 (Intel), Windows 11 (user’s)
