[Android] Linear color space causes darker scene rendering than expected
Reproduction steps:
1) Download and open "901212_reproProj.zip" project
2) Build and run "rp" scene on a device compatible with GearVR or Daydream
-- Notice that scene is darker than usual
4) Change Color Space to "Gamma"
5) Build and run project once again
-- Notice that scene is much lighter compared to "Linear" Color Space setup
Expected result:
Project build with Color Space set to "Linear" should be as light as project build with "Gamma" Color Space
Note:
Unable to reproduce with Cardboard (tested on Samsung Galaxy S7 and Unity 5.6.0p1)
Reproduced with:
2017.1.0b1, 5.6.0p1, 5.5.3p1, 5.5.0f1
5.4 - doesn't have Color Space selection
DUT:
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Mali-T760
Samsung Galaxy S7, Adreno 530
Google Pixel, Adreno 530 (tested with Daydream)

Any chance of this being fixed in 2017.2?

Is there a reason this has been resolved as "Won't Fix"? I'm having the same issue in 2017.1 on a Pixel. Is this something Google needs to fix?

We are getting the same issues on our end. We are making a build for Daydream

Still happens with Unity 5.6.0f3. Default Unity scene, just build to GearVR and see the difference between Gamma and Linear.
