Title: [2D] When adding material to multiple prefabs, Unity will either not add, add, or crash.
Steps To Reproduce:
1. Open a 2D project.
2. This project when opened had missing material references
3. Multi-select prefab objects to add material.
4. Try to add Sprite Default, may work.
5. Try to add any other default material, may crash.
