[2D] Slicing sprite into many sub-sprites lacks a progress meter
Slicing a sprite into many (2000+) sub-sprites can take more than several minutes; a progress meter would be very helpful in monitoring slicing progress.
- import a sprite
- open the Sprite Editor
- choose to slice by size and set the x/y values low to create many sub-sprites (2000+)
- click on Slice
The editor begins to create sub-sprites but there is no indication of progress. Although a message appears warning the user that the operation could take several minutes, a progress meter would provide better feedback, especially in cases with over 2000 sub-sprites.
