[UI Builder] The last selected object in Preview mode remains stuck in a highlighted state after exiting the Preview mode
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the attached project
- Open the TestDocument.uxml file in UI Builder
- Enter Preview mode
- Select the Canvas
- Exit Preview mode
- Observe the UI Builder's Viewport
Actual results: The whole canvas becomes highlighted in blue after exiting the Preview Mode
Expected results: Canvas is not highlighted after exiting the Preview Mode
Reproducible with versions: 6000.0.59f1, 6000.2.8f1, 6000.3.0b6, 6000.4.0a3
Tested on (OS): macOS 26.0.1
Notes:
- The issue also occurs for any Visual Element that was selected in the Hierarchy window. After exiting the Preview Mode, the last selected element will remain highlighted
